The beautiful birthplace and museum of Croatian painter Vlaho Bukovac (1855-1922) in the Cavat village in Southern Croatia. The museums walls are covered with paintings and decorations painted by Vlaho in his younger years, but later his sister painted over his paintings. Restorers have though tried to dissolve the later paint coat to reveal his artworks that cover most of the buildings inner walls. The Museum exhibits paintings and drawings from various time periods of the painters life as well as some of his furniture and personal items.
